# Cyclogram

> App for calculating and communicating your machine operations and cycle times. A browser-based cycle-diagram (machine-cycle timeline) editor for machine-design engineers: actuator lanes, ramped movements, bindings with offsets, a wrap view and a critical path. Local-first — projects stay in the user's browser, are never uploaded, and the app works fully offline after the first sign-in.

Cyclogram models ONE repeating machine cycle: each actuator is a horizontal lane, each movement a ramp-up / body / ramp-down trapezoid, and bindings chain movements together so that moving or lengthening one re-times everything downstream. It is not machine-only: the same lanes, bindings and critical path schedule any process with timed, dependent steps — embedded-system start-up sequences, chemical batch procedures, beer production — with a resolution grid adjustable from 0.1 s to 1 hour. Cycle time is derived (the end of the last movement); the target cycle time is what the engineer types. The free edition has every editing feature, capped at 2 actuators / 6 tasks, with a watermarked PDF export (Excel export is Full-only); a Full licence — an offline .mclic file checked by signature, no subscription, no activation server — removes the cap and watermark and enables Excel export, and is free during the public beta (until 30 October 2026) through the in-app "Get a license" form. Enterprise (multi-station, collaboration) is in development. File formats: .mcyc (project, plain JSON), .mclib (library entry), .mclic (signed licence). Cyclogram is not CAD, does no physics or collision simulation, has no public API and stores no projects server-side. Contact: support@cyclogram.app.
